GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all sales made through the website FINEZINE.COM.

Any order placed on the Website implies the customer’s acceptance of these Terms, subject to any mandatory provisions of applicable law.

1. FINEZINE, ORIGIN OF THE CREATIONS & MOROCCAN CRAFTSMANSHIP

Finezine is a Moroccan Maison offering fashion and artisanal creations, including kaftans, djellabas, gandouras, dresses, sets, contemporary pieces, accessories, and Atelier creations.

Finezine items offered on the Website are authentic Moroccan creations. They are prepared and shipped from Casablanca, Morocco.

Finezine works with artisans, tailors, and Maâlems who master traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. Many embroidery, construction, and finishing steps are carried out by hand.

Some pieces are available immediately in stock. Others may be made to order or require production time in our ateliers.

Due to the artisanal nature of certain creations, slight variations may appear in embroidery, finishes, shades, textures, or hand-crafted details. These variations do not necessarily constitute a defect; they reflect the artisanal and sometimes unique character of each piece.

Photographs and visuals displayed on the Website are produced with great care. However, slight differences in color or appearance may occur depending on screens, display settings, and shooting conditions.

2. PRICES, CURRENCIES & INTERNATIONAL SALES

For orders delivered within Morocco, prices are generally displayed in Moroccan dirhams (MAD).

For international orders, the default reference currency is the US dollar (USD), subject to the features available on the Website.

The Website may also allow prices to be displayed in other currencies. When currency conversion is offered, the amount actually charged may vary slightly depending on the exchange rate applied by the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Any applicable shipping fees are shown before final confirmation of the order.

Finezine reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are, however, invoiced based on the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed, subject to availability and absence of obvious error.

In the event of an obvious error concerning a price, description, promotion, or essential product information, Finezine reserves the right to cancel the relevant order and refund the amounts actually collected.

3. CUSTOMS DUTIES & INTERNATIONAL TAXES

All items are shipped from Casablanca, Morocco.

For deliveries outside Morocco, the order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of order, these charges are not included in the item price or in the shipping fees charged by Finezine.

They remain the customer’s responsibility. The customer is invited to check with the relevant authorities in their country before placing an order.

Finezine cannot be held responsible for the amount of such duties, taxes, or fees, nor for any additional delays caused by customs procedures.

4. ORDER

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all information provided when placing an order, including:

  • first and last name;

  • delivery address;

  • telephone number;

  • email address;

  • selected size;

  • measurements provided, where applicable;

  • any specific alteration or personalization instructions.

Before final confirmation, the customer is invited to carefully check all order details.

An order confirmation is sent by email once the order has been registered.

Finezine reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order, particularly in the event of:

  • payment issue;

  • suspected fraud;

  • exceptional product unavailability;

  • obvious error on the Website;

  • technical impossibility of carrying out a requested personalization;

  • previous dispute with the customer.

5. AVAILABILITY & PRODUCTION

Products are offered subject to availability.

When a piece is available in stock, it may be prepared for shipment as soon as possible.

When a piece is not immediately available, it may, depending on the design and availability of materials, be made to order in our ateliers.

Production times are indicative and vary according to the complexity of the piece, the level of embroidery, artisanal finishing, and the atelier’s workload.

As an indication:

  • Djellabas, Gandouras, Lightweight Kaftans, and Everyday Pieces: 10 to 15 days

  • Grand Kaftans, Kaftan Dresses, and Takchitas: 20 to 45 days

  • Atelier and Haute Couture Pieces: up to 60 days

For an event, ceremony, or required delivery date, the customer is invited to contact Client Service before placing an order to check whether the timeline is feasible.

6. SIZES, MEASUREMENTS & ADJUSTMENTS

Finezine generally follows a size guide from S to XXXL.

The customer is invited to carefully consult the Size Guide before placing any order.

A kaftan may be designed to offer a different ease and fit from a classic Western-style dress. The choice of size should therefore take into account the style, cut, and drape of the model.

For certain pieces, Finezine offers an adjustment service to better adapt the creation to the customer.

These adjustments may include:

  • garment length;

  • sleeve length;

  • width;

  • cut;

  • certain proportions;

  • adaptation to the measurements provided.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the sizes, measurements, and instructions provided.

Any modification carried out at the customer’s request may give the piece a personalized nature and lead to specific return, exchange, or refund conditions as set out below.

7. PAYMENT & COLLECTING ENTITIES

Finezine operates through an organization adapted to its local and international markets.

Orders in Morocco

Local orders intended for the Moroccan market may be invoiced and collected by the Moroccan entity operating Finezine’s activity in Morocco.

Payments are generally made in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) according to the payment methods available at the time of order.

International Orders

International orders may be invoiced and/or collected by Finezine’s international entity established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, particularly for the processing of international payments.

The default international currency displayed on the Website is the US dollar (USD).

The fact that an international payment is processed or collected by the Dubai entity does not change the Moroccan origin of the creations nor their shipping location: the items are prepared and shipped from Casablanca, Morocco.

Depending on the country, currency, payment method, or technical configuration of the Website, the descriptor appearing on the customer’s bank statement may correspond to the Finezine entity responsible for processing or collecting the payment.

Available payment methods are shown at the time of order and may include:

  • credit or debit card;

  • bank transfer;

  • cash on delivery in Morocco, when available;

  • any other payment solution offered on the Website.

The order is considered confirmed once payment has been validated or the selected payment method has been accepted.

Finezine reserves the right to suspend or cancel an order in the event of refused, incomplete, suspicious payment, or payment subject to security verification.

8. SHIPPING

Finezine ships within Morocco and internationally.

All physical product orders are prepared and shipped from Casablanca, Morocco, unless an exceptional contrary indication is expressly communicated to the customer.

For pieces available in stock, delivery is generally completed within 4 to 5 business days, once the order is ready for dispatch.

Depending on immediate product availability and destination, shipment may be faster.

For pieces requiring production, the shipping time is added to the announced production time.

The timelines communicated are estimates and may vary depending on:

  • product availability;

  • production time;

  • destination;

  • customs formalities;

  • periods of high activity;

  • carrier.

For international shipments, Finezine may use transport partners such as DHL, FedEx, Chronopost, or any other carrier suited to the destination.

Finezine cannot be held responsible for delays directly attributable to the carrier, customs formalities, an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, or the recipient’s absence.

9. RECEIPT OF THE ORDER

Upon receipt, the customer is invited to check the general condition of the parcel and, where possible, its contents.

If the parcel is visibly damaged, the customer is invited to immediately report any anomaly to the carrier and contact Finezine Client Service as soon as possible.

Any claim concerning a damaged, defective, or clearly non-compliant item must be accompanied by photographs allowing our team to review the request.

10. RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Finezine creations are delicate pieces, featuring many artisanal finishes and hand-crafted details. Their fitting, handling, transport, and repackaging require particular care in order to preserve their condition, drape, and finishing quality.

10.1 General Principle

Subject to any mandatory legal provisions to the contrary, Finezine items are not returnable or exchangeable solely due to a change of mind, personal preference, or wish to change model after receiving the order.

No return may be made without Finezine’s prior and express approval.

Any return or exchange request must be addressed to Finezine Client Service within a maximum of 7 days following receipt of the order.

Each request is reviewed individually by our team, taking into account in particular:

  • the nature of the piece;

  • its condition;

  • its artisanal character;

  • its finishes;

  • its availability;

  • any alterations or adaptations carried out;

  • the reason for the request.

Submitting a return request does not mean that the return has been automatically accepted.

10.2 Exceptionally Authorized Return

When a return is exceptionally accepted by Finezine, the item must imperatively be:

  • new and unworn;

  • unwashed and uncleaned;

  • undamaged;

  • free from perfume, makeup, perspiration, or any sign of use;

  • returned with its accessories, belts, garment covers, labels, and original elements;

  • packaged in a way that perfectly preserves the piece and its artisanal finishes.

Any item returned without prior authorization may be refused.

Any item showing signs of use, alteration, damage, or handling incompatible with resale may also be refused.

Return costs and risks remain the customer’s responsibility, except in the case of an error acknowledged as attributable to Finezine or where otherwise required by law.

11. ALTERED, ADJUSTED, PERSONALIZED, OR SPECIFICALLY MADE PIECES

Finezine regularly offers adjustment and alteration services to better adapt its creations to the expectations of its customers.

Once a piece has been modified, altered, adjusted, or personalized at the customer’s request, it can no longer be returned, exchanged, or refunded, subject to mandatory provisions of applicable law.

This includes, in particular:

  • length alterations;

  • shortening or modification of sleeves;

  • width adjustments;

  • cut adaptations;

  • modifications based on measurements provided;

  • neckline or silhouette modifications;

  • color changes;

  • embroidery adaptations;

  • finishing modifications;

  • any other transformation carried out specifically at the customer’s request.

This rule also applies when the requested modification may appear minor, including a simple length alteration, as soon as it has been carried out specifically for the customer.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the measurements, dimensions, and instructions provided to Finezine.

12. DEFECT, ERROR, OR NON-COMPLIANCE ATTRIBUTABLE TO FINEZINE

The non-return policy for altered or personalized pieces does not apply when a manufacturing defect is acknowledged or when a modification carried out by Finezine does not correspond to the instructions previously validated with the customer.

In such case, the customer must contact Client Service as soon as possible and provide the necessary elements to review the request, including photographs where relevant.

After verification, Finezine will propose the most appropriate solution depending on the situation:

  • corrective alteration;

  • repair;

  • replacement;

  • exchange;

  • refund where applicable;

  • any other solution compliant with applicable law.

13. STORE CREDIT & REFUNDS

The exceptional acceptance of a return does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Depending on the nature of the request, the type of product, its condition, and the circumstances of the return, Finezine may offer:

  • an exchange;

  • an adjustment;

  • an alteration;

  • store credit;

  • a refund where required by applicable law or expressly accepted by Finezine.

The conditions and validity period of any store credit are communicated to the customer when it is issued.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All elements present on FINEZINE.COM, including creations, models, designs, photographs, videos, texts, logos, names, graphics, and content, are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

Any reproduction, copying, use, distribution, or exploitation, whether total or partial, without Finezine’s prior written authorization is prohibited.

15. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected is used in particular to:

  • process orders;

  • organize deliveries;

  • provide Client Service;

  • manage the commercial relationship;

  • improve the customer experience;

  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable regulations.

16. FORCE MAJEURE

Finezine cannot be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform resulting from an event beyond its control and meeting the criteria of force majeure under applicable law.

18. APPLICABLE LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the relevant contractual relationship, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply to the customer depending on their country of residence and the nature of the transaction.

For local operations carried out in Morocco, the applicable provisions of Moroccan law shall apply.

In the event of a dispute, Finezine and the customer will first seek an amicable resolution.

Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
